When?

Every Wednesday 5:00pm until dark

Fixed Wing Aircraft

Flight training is conducted every Wednesday afternoon from May to October from 5:00pm until dark, and October to weather permitting, Saturday morning from 9am until 12noon. Other times can be arrange depending on Instructor availably. Just contact one of our instructors here and they would be more than happy to set up a date and time for you to come out and get some free instruction.

Our flight instructors volunteer their time to provide you with the training you need. We use “buddy boxes” to make flight training easier.

Helicopter

For helicopter students we offer heli training every Monday afternoon from May to October from 5:00pm until dark.

Buddy Box

A “buddy box” is a second transmitter that is paired to the first transmitter that the instructor always has in his hands. When he presses a button on the radio, the controls are transferred to the student who is flying on the second transmitter. If there is ever a problem, the instructor simply takes his finger off the button thus returning control to him. So come on out to our flying field and join us!

Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced modes allow you to choose the level of stability and control you need, or are ready to try, at the flip of a switch. And you can instantly return to steady flight using Panic Recovery with the push of a button in any flight mode. Oversized tires make it possible to take off and land on a variety of surfaces including thick grass, gravel paths, dirt trails and smooth pavement, or you can install the optional floats to fly from water—which adds to its unmatched versatility and capabilities.
